The Louisiana Commerce and Trade Association (LCTA) focuses our philanthropic efforts on feeding the hungry and helping those in need in the greater Baton Rouge area, as well as supporting education in Louisiana. Through the donation of funds and employee volunteers, LCTA regularly contributes to the Shepherd’s Market Food Pantry, Baton Rouge Food Bank, St. Vincent de Paul, and the Salvation Army. LCTA gives to educational institutions throughout Louisiana such as scholarship programs for Louisiana State University and Southeastern University. As an organization, we feel it is our mission to serve the community that supports our members.
LCTA made a significant donation to the Shepherd’s Market “3rd Annual Great Turkey Give Away.” Along with the monetary contribution, LCTA Workers’ Comp employees joined with community volunteers in handing out more than 400 turkeys to families in need. The association carried on its fight against hunger through office fundraisers which supported the Baton Rouge Food Bank and Catholic Charities. LCTA raised enough money to fund a truckload of food for the Baton Rouge Area Food Bank’s “Bucks for Trucks” program and various household items for the “2013 Community Comes Together for Christmas” program hosted by Catholic Charities.
LCTA encourages all applications for support by financially stable and well-managed organizations that fit within our philanthropic mission. Please submit any applications or inquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All of us at LCTA Workers’ Comp strongly believe in giving back to our community through charity and volunteer efforts. We proudly support a variety of nonprofit agencies in the Baton Rouge area, including:
